The History of Victory Baptist Church

Welcome to Victory Baptist Church! We are a vibrant and thriving church dedicated to serving the Lord and making a difference in our world. We will step back in time and explore the inspiring history of our church, a journey that began with the unwavering dedication of Pastor Ezequiel Rivera, his family and a small group of faithful individuals.

The Call to Ministry:

On October 11, 2001, deep in the heart of Houston,Texas, at Iglesia Bautista Libertad, under Pastor Roy Carrizales, as a young man Pastor Ezequiel Rivera surrendered his life to serve in the ministry. Pastor Rivera nurtured his calling by faithfully serving  under Pastor Dennis Morrello at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Huntington, West Virginia from 2006 - 2014.

The Birth Of Victory Baptist Church:

Directed by the Holy Spirit and guided by their faith, Pastor Ezequiel Rivera and his family, along with twelve committed members, embarked on a new spiritual journey. On November 16, 2014, Victory Baptist Church was officially established in Whitehouse, Texas, a serene town nestled within the greater Tyler area. Victory Baptist Church quickly began to make an impact by reaching out to those that had been hurt and were looking for a place of healing by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Years of Growth and Ministry:

Throughout the years, Victory Baptist Church has experienced remarkable growth, both spiritually and numerically. Our ministry has become a spiritual home for many, a place where people of all backgrounds can come together in unity. In the continued spirit of growth and development, we are delighted to share an exciting milestone in the history of Victory Baptist Church. We are thrilled to announce that Victory Baptist recently ordained its first youth pastor, Noah McIntyre! With Noah's ordination, Victory Baptist Church reaffirms its commitment to the spiritual development and well-being of our youth. Noah's passion for connecting with the young people, mentoring them, and guiding them in their walk with Christ is a vital asset to our church family.

Come and be a part of our story as we move forward, faithfully serve our community and bring glory to God. Together, we will continue to make a difference, one life at time.
